Mission Statement
Defining the Commitment

The Toronto West CAER Committee, composed of representatives from chemical user groups, Municipal and Provincial authorities, and Emergency Services have adopted the following parameters to form its Mission Statement:

• Responding to community concerns related to the operation of members’ facilities.
• To continuously reduce the risks to the environment and educate the community and our employees in the City of Toronto.
• To assist in the development and maintenance of company emergency response plans which are integrated with the City of Toronto Emergency Response Plan.
• To promote a positive image of chemical users through the provision of information to interested groups.
